CERAMATHS Mathematics Department Seminar Program for the year 2022/2023

The Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France (UPHF) received an exceptional donation in 2019 from Christophe Bourseiller, consisting of nearly 29,000 documents that have marked history since 1945. The mission of the University's Common Documentation Service is to preserve and promote this donation and make it available to all audiences, from researchers to students to enlightened amateurs. The University's Board of Trustees, sitting on July 4, 2019, approved the donation agreement.

Our school is very proud to count among its ranks Laura Wallard, Maitresse de conférences and researcher at LAMIH UMR CNRS 8201, who has been named Regional Ambassador for the 2023 Fête de la Science.

This research theme concerns the study of novel digital videocommunication systems that enable the optimization of received video quality.

As part of the Plan d'Investissement d'Avenir France 2030, a specific call for projects was coordinated by the Centre National du Cinéma et de l'image animé (CNC) entitled "La Grande Fabrique de l'image". On Friday May 19, during the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, Minister of Culture Rima Abdul Malak revealed the names of the 68 winners. It was with pride that we learned that our project Talented Broadcaster's Academy, was selected on volet I Grands Studios de tournage and Volet III Formation. It is one of five winning projects in the Hauts-de-France region. Three other public-sector establishments appear on the list at national level : École Louis Lumière, FEMIS and Université Aix-Marseille.
