The Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France and INSA Hauts-de-France, one of its component establishments, have just been awarded the national label Développement Durable & Responsabilité Sociétale* (DD&RS), a distinction that recognizes higher education and research establishments resolutely committed to ecological and social transition.

The Gaston Berger Center at INSA Hauts-de-France has as its main mission the support and promotion of diversity.
This is manifested through several fields of action.

The Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France (UPHF) received an exceptional donation in 2019 from Christophe Bourseiller, consisting of nearly 29,000 documents that have marked history since 1945. The mission of the University's Common Documentation Service is to preserve and promote this donation and make it available to all audiences, from researchers to students to enlightened amateurs. The University's Board of Trustees, sitting on July 4, 2019, approved the donation agreement.

Scientific research in the mechanical engineering department revolves around two main themes associated with 5 scientific activities: MFVSI and MSPRO.

The Eiffel scholarship program is a tool developed by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs to enable French higher education establishments to attract the best foreign students to degree courses at Master's and PhD level.
