[Student project] Our M1 Audiovisual Production students make a video for INSA HdF

Like every year, our Master 1 Audiovisual Production students must produce a commissioned video/product.

So, once again this year, a group of students have produced a video for our Institute.

They are Garance DETREZ, Lucie JANSSENS, Marie MOBON, Emilien ROUILLARD, Joseph EDWARDS, Antoine COTA and Théo CREMERS.

Find out more about Théo CREMERS:

What was the background to this video?

"It's part of our curriculum in Master 1 - Audiovisual Production. We received 3 commissioned products (Alstom, Clinéa and INSA HdF), so we set up one group per video."

What were the different stages?

"For this video, the most important work was done during pre-production. We had to find enough locations for a good diversity of shots, taking care to find similar but more equipped locations to give this impression of evolution between the student and professional world. Finding actors and enough extras was quite complicated, as since it's only a light role, they weren't necessarily up for playing in it (or else had things already planned on the shooting days).

.

As far as shooting and editing were concerned, everything flowed from pre-production so it was simpler because it was more guided."

How long did this project take you?

"The shoot took us 3 days, and post-production around 2 to 3 weeks.

As for pre-production, we received the order last December from memory, but we had to juggle several projects so we weren't focused on it. I'd say it took us a little over a month for this part.

So all in all, our video will have taken us about 2 months to make (from first idea to finished product)."

Congratulations to the students on their great project!
