INSA Hauts-de-France x ECIU

ECIU Alliance: INSA Hauts-de-France welcomes international students to its Créathon

For the first time in June 2024, the Créathon, a marathon of creativity and innovation led by INSA Hauts-de-France, has become an ECIU challenge.

Our institute welcomed two students from Hamburg University of Technology as part of an "international team" also comprising three INSA Hauts-de-France student-engineers.

Together, they worked on an innovative project aimed at promoting the local heritage of the Bassin minier (Unesco listed) through the practice of sport, integrating innovative technologies and creative solutions.

Congratulations to these international students on their participation in this made-in-Hauts-de-France challenge!

ECIU: what is it?

The ECIU program offers European educational opportunities in which INSA Hauts-de-France engineering students can participate, as well as students from partner universities that are members of the European alliance:

  • challenges, enabling the resolution of concrete and innovative problems in a local reality in collaboration with stakeholders, while developing skills.
  • micro-modules, designed as short-format teachings to develop training-related skills or explore new areas of study.
  • with or without mobility, within the 13 European partner universities that comprise the alliance. The micro-modules or challenges can be completed online or in hybrid mode. They can also enable mobility abroad in one of the partner universities.
  • by the International Relations department with Erasmus+*, which can cover the living expenses associated with mobility.
  • and certified, with the validation of ECTS upon successful completion of the challenge or micro-module. Results are recorded on the student's transcript of records.*

An exchange program with impact

The ECIU program enabled students to develop both academically and personally. This experience enabled them to work on a concrete project in collaboration with students from different backgrounds, which was extremely enriching.

Insa Hauts-de-France students, you can also join a similar experience at a partner university!
